Outside linebacker O'Brien Schofield suffered a sprained ankle during the Arizona Cardinals' 31-17 setback to the Green Bay Packers yesterday at Lambeau Field. His current status for the Week 11 game against Atlanta is currently unknown. The Cardinals are on a bye this coming weekend. Quentin Groves would start in Schofield's place if Schofield can't suit up against the Falcons. That's a long way off though at this time.

In othe sprainedasuffered In other news, quarterback Kevin Kolb (remember him?) may not be ready to return to action for the Atlanta game. Kolb did some light tossing on the side last week but appears to be at least a few weeks away from being available to play. Kolb suffered shoulder and rib injuries last month against Buffalo.

Halfback Beanie Wells (turf toe) can begin practicing this week after spending the past month on the injured reserve/designated to return list. Wells can't return to game action until Nov. 25 (Week 12) against the St. Louis Rams.

Did you know?

Larry Fitzgerald's 31-yard touchdown reception from John Skelton yesterday against the Packers was his longest reception since Week Three and his second longest of the season. Fitzgerald is being double teamed constantly these days with safety help over the top. Despite that, for the most part, he is still performing at an All-Pro level.
