The Ohio State product is recovering from a turf toe injury – he will miss his seventh game of the season this Sunday against Atlanta. His eventual return will boost one of the most anemic rushing attacks in the NFL. In fact, the Red Birds rank dead last in the league in rushing, averaging just 76 yards per game. The Falcons have been installed as 10-point favorites over the Cardinals on Sunday. What a shocker, right?
The Red Birds lead the overall series with the Falcons, 14-11. However, Atlanta has captured five of the last six contests, including a 41-7 wipeout of Arizona in 2010. The last time the Cards won in Atlanta was all the back in 1993.
