The losing streak is at nine games and counting. The Arizona Cardinals are becoming an embarrassment.

The Red Birds hit the nadir in franchise history by getting destroyed, 58-0 by the Seattle Seahawks Sunday in Seattle. These are the types of games that get coaches fired and rightly so. It looks like Arizona has thrown in the towel.

Marshawn Lynch rushed for 128 yards on just 11 carries and scored three touchdowns to lead the Hawks (8-5). The loss dropped the Cardinals to 4-9, their ninth straight defeat. It was the worst shutout loss in franchise history.

It was a disgraceful effort. The Cardinals committed eight turnovers and made Lynch look like Jim Brown.

Arizona might have some of the worst quarterbacks in the history of the league. John Skelton threw for 74 yards and four interceptions while Ryan Lindley threw for just 59 yards in relief. Skelton's QB rating was 18.2. What a joke.

Robert Turbin chipped in with 102 yards rushing for Seattle, which took a 38-0 halftime lead and never looked back. The Seahawks outgained Arizona, 493-154 in yards from scrimmage.

William Powell led Arizona's rushing "attack" with 20 yards. Remember when Larry Fitzgerald was a Pro-Bowl receiver? Not anymore. Fitzgerald was held to one reception for two yards. It's really sad to see someone this talented have such terrible quarterback play.

Andre Roberts and Rob Housler each had 36 receiving yards for the Cards.

Three more games to go and this wretched season will be over.

Finally.
