The Arizona Cardinals have re-signed guard-center Mike Gibson and released defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin.

Lumpkin was just promoted from the practice squad last Saturday and Gibson was released at that time.

Before signing with the Red Birds last Wednesday, Gibson spent three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. He appeared in 20 games with them, including eight as a starter.

Gibson had been with the Philadelphia Eagles in training camp before being released on Aug. 31. Gibson was a sixth-round draft pick from the University of California in 2008.

Lumpkin, a University of Kentucky product, had one solo tackle against Detroit last Sunday. It was his only game action of this season for Arizona.
