Now that the Super Bowl is over and the 2012 NFL season is in the books, things are a little slow on the Cardinals news front this morning. However, the team did officially announce their coaching staff under new head coach Bruce Arians. Let's take a look at how the staff shapes up:
Assistant head coach/offense: Tom Moore
Offensive Coordinator: Harold Goodwin
Assistant offensive line coach: Larry Zierlein
Offensive assistant: Kevin Garver
Quarterbacks coach: Freddie Kitchens
Running backs coach: Stump Mitchell
Wide receivers coach: Darryl Drake
Tight ends coach: Rick Christophel
Defensive Coordinator: Todd Bowles
Defensive line coach: Brentson Buckner
Outside linebackers coach: Jim Bettcher
Linebackers coach: Mike Caldwell
Pass rush specialist: Tom Pratt
Defensive backs coach: Nick Rapone
Cornerbacks coach: Kevin Ross
Defensive assistant/Assistant defensive backs coach : Ryan Slowik
Special Teams coach: Amos Jones
Assistant special teams/Assistant tight ends coach : Steve Heiden
Strength and Conditioning coaches: John Lott and Pete Alosi (assistant)
All combined, these coaches have 191 years of NFL coaching experience and 66 years of NFL playing experience.
Arians will be calling the offensive plays while Moore, Goodwin and Zierlein will share duties handling the offensive line.
The Red Birds appear to be in very good hands.
